John acts for clients in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including start-ups, financings, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate reorganizations, licensing, and other general commercial matters. John has advised clients in many industries, and has been involved in sophisticated transactions dealing with information technology and intellectual property matters. John is also registered with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office as a Trade-mark Agent in Canada.
Prior to joining Wilson Vukelich LLP, John practiced at a boutique corporate commercial law firm in downtown Toronto.
John currently sits on the board of directors of the Markham Board of Trade and the Unionville Home Society. He regularly gives presentations on business law topics at the Innovation Synergy Centre in Markham and to select groups of business owners and executives.
John plays hockey and softball, and enjoys reading, scotch and summer weekends with his family at the cottage.
