COVID-19 and Your Workplace Webinar: COVID-19 Vaccination Policies

Throughout Canada, employers are considering whether they must or should mandate COVID-19 vaccinations. For certain employers, mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for their workers is required. For other employers, having a COVID-19 vaccination policy is required, but the details are more flexible. And for some employers, it is up to them to decide whether to establish a COVID-19 vaccination policy and the details of that policy. Where an employer establishes a COVID-19 vaccination policy, that policy must be carefully drafted to respect the employees’ right to medical privacy and the employees’ right to be free from prohibited discrimination and harassment.
