Julie Gingras joined Wilson Vukelich LLP in 2011 as an associate and has been a partner at the firm since 2016. Julie’s practice has a particular focus on structuring, negotiating and drafting documents for asset based finance and securitization transactions, aircraft transactions and factoring transactions.
Prior to joining Wilson Vukelich LLP, Julie was an associate at a Bay Street firm where her prime focus was the representation on international and domestic corporations and aircraft financiers in connection with aircraft financing transactions, aircraft delivery closings, the purchase, sale and lease of business aircraft and the provision of advice on a variety of related commercial and regulatory requirements. Julie was also involved with that firm’s asset-based financing group.
Julie has also worked with a major Canadian aerospace manufacturing company where she negotiated terms and conditions of sale for multimillion-dollar aircraft with international clients.
Julie has become a professional user entity on the International Registry for aircraft objects. She is fluent in French and welcomes the opportunity to serve the business interests of the Francophone community.
Involvement & Recognition
Julie is an active member of the Canadian Finance & Leasing Association and Equipment Leasing and Finance Association and was recognized by Best Lawyers in 2024. Julie is also involved in different charities raising funds for the local hospital.
