Avery Kalpin

Avery practises in the areas of tax law and planning. He focuses on corporate reorganizations, trusts, estate planning, the taxation of real estate, cross-border and international taxation, purchase and sale of businesses, and dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Wilson Vukelich, Avery practised in tax litigation at a Toronto-based law firm, representing individuals and corporations at the Tax Court of Canada.

Involvement & Recognition

Avery excelled in his legal studies at the University of Ottawa, and graduated in 2019 with Honours. Prior to law school, Avery obtained his Bachelor of Arts Honours degree at Queen’s University, and completed a semester abroad at Sciences Po, a renowned political science university in Paris. In his final year, he completed his Honours Thesis on South African public housing policy.

Avery is conversant in French and Hebrew. In his spare time, Avery enjoys travelling, reading, running, playing sports, and keeping up with current events.
