Ariel is an associate in the Litigation Group, focusing on labour and employment law. She is committed to understanding her clients’ needs and presenting creative, pragmatic and cost-effective solutions to complex legal issues.
Ariel is called to the Bar and has practiced law in both Ontario and Hong Kong. She has successfully advocated for clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, Local Planning Appeals Tribunal, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Social Security Tribunal (Appeals Division) and the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Prior to joining Wilson Vukelich LLP, she articled and practiced as an associate at a national law firm.
Involvement & Recognition
Ariel is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association, Christian Legal Fellowship and Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
Ariel is also actively involved in the community. In 2015 and 2016, she mentored and coached undergraduate students to the final round at the UGMT Undergraduate Mock Trials Canada. During law school at the University of Toronto, she was a caseworker in the Criminal Law Division of Downtown Legal Services, where she prepared for the trial of a domestic assault prosecution. She worked at the Hong Kong Justice Centre, where she acted for asylum seekers before the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
In her spare time, Ariel enjoys travelling with her husband and young son, and loves to explore different types of cuisine and cultures.
